Same-Sex Marriage - elephant tv

                     Happy New Year to Everyone

My hope and prayer for you all this year is that 2013 will be a year of love, laughter, learning, connection and emancipation.

Let's make it happen for ourselves and for others too.

Below you can watch the trailer for the discussion  that I had on elephant tv in October 2012 in Auckland New Zealand about Same-Sex Marriage. There were two of us in support and two against. The discussion was respectful, engaging, passionate and fun.

The full documentary can be seen on the link immediately below.

                           Same-Sex Marriage - The Trailer

Four passionate and experienced professionals from very different perspectives discuss same-sex marriage from a Christian perspective. Expected to be one of the most controversial episodes of our first series, with the most clearly opposing "sides" of any of the topics, this instead turned out to be one of our most emotional episodes, including an unscripted apology and more than one round of spontaneous hugging. A must-see for anyone interested in marriage, the church's role in marriage, and what an evolving marriage tradition could look like in Christian communities in the future.

And here is a short clip that did not

survive the cutting room floor.
